I almost cried when I saw this part. This is what you do. You don’t continue on your way because it doesn’t involve you.
Look at the way she shields the stranger WITH HER OWN BODY. This is what needs to happen when you see someone being bullied or harassed.
"No! You get out of my face!” This. This is so amazing and I’m so glad I’ve seen it. I’m sick and fucking tired of bullying. People DIE because of bullying, whether it be at the hands of bullies or at their own hand because they just can’t take it anymore. My cousin was 13 fucking years old, less than a month away from his 14th birthday, when he shot himself because he couldn’t take it anymore and the school wouldn’t do fuck all about the bullies that tormented him all damn day and then followed him home from school to stand outside of his house and torment him awhile longer every day. A couple of weeks after that, my mom walked in on my 11 year old brother trying to hang himself in the basement for the same reason. (And probably a little bit of his reason was losing our cousin, he was an amazing kid and going to grow up to be an amazing man and we were really close with him.)
Bullying is never okay. I don’t give a fuck if if there’s a screen between you and your victim. Yes, victim; just like a murderer has a victim. And, really, you aren’t any better than a murderer. Even if your target doesn’t die, you’ve killed a part of them with your bullying.
This makes me happy. You go girl.
My 14 year old sister got bullied in school and now she is homeschooled. My parents didn’t want to chance it losing her because of bullies that think they run the school. Since my sister is pale and she loved twilight movies, they would call her a vampire, white bitch, skin disease, one little girl waved a cross in her face and said “BURN IN HELL BITCH” …I don’t understand HOW that makes bullies feel better about life? It makes me so mad that these girls and a few boys would gain up on my sister. THE TEACHER NOR PRINCIPLE wouldn’t do anything at all to help.
My little sister got so depressed that she was thinking about suicide, multiple times. She even tired going to a different school but now she has such bad thoughts and anxiety that she tired killing herself the weekend before school by taking her prescription pills. It terrifies me to lose any of my siblings, especially my little sister.
BULLYING isn’t okay. Never has been and it makes me sick that the school or anyone barely does anything about it. Reblogging forever. She’s a hero.
just a suggestion, its what i do, when looking at items that are lets say, far left right up or down and you dont want to move the head too much, always make the pupils touch the eyelids edge. so if shes looking down then only show the top half of the iris and the pupil, for the snout, at a 3/4’s angle you should be able to see her snout pointing out if. my suggestion is to draw an actual 3d cube where her snout/nose would be and shape it from there http://prntscr.com/28tl91 i mean the rest is now just stylized to your own unique style so i dont have much else to critique. im sorry if this is just kinda out of the blue, but i figured i’d get my two cents in and stuff. pm me if you want to chat more ^W^
Cool, I’ll keep that in mind, thanks, critique and advice is always accepted and appreciated.
Every artist who sees this post should do the following:
- Watch the video.
- Follow the instructions
I can’t stress you enough about how important these exercises are for your drawing hand. You don’t wanna get CTS of Tendonitis and similar stuff that will prevent you from making art or even hold a pencil.
Okay, this guy is my HERO. I just did these exercises as I watched the video, and already my arms and hands feel better. I have a degenerative tendon disease that prevents my muscles, tendons and ligaments from retaining their elasticity, and so anything that maintains the health of my bendy parts is important.
I URGE YOU. Even if you don’t draw, do these several times a day. Even just sitting at a computer can do serious damage. My dad, who was a rugby player, a carpenter, and now a handyman, suffered from severe carpal tunnel syndrome, simply as a result of sitting at the computer at the end of the day to play a little solitaire. Don’t let it happen to you!
((Guys, I will reblog this like, 5 times a day just so you all will see this. This is REALLY helpful, and it’s quick and easy.))
Wow, these are REALLY helpful. And yes, this is not just good but IMPORTANT for more than artists — if you type a lot, play a lot of video games, do anything that requires lots of repetitive movements of your hands, wrists, and arms (gardening, sewing, factory work), these can help. Even if you don’t yet get pain these are a great preventative measure, because the damage builds up over time. Youth is no protection.
And like he says, you should feel a stretch, but don’t push it too far!
Signal boosting. Guys, I just did this and holy cow do I feel incredibly light and limber in my arms. Again, even if you don’t have any sort of disease, do this as a preventative measure.
